They went to Roller Cams in the 90's (in fact, IINM, they started rolling them out in the 80's on some models), and figure that anyone who has a "Flat Tappet" cam is in the minority.

Of course, this did backfire (HUGELY) as many people have found out the hard way.

Though, most FLAPS people who are worth anything at all know about this, and will warn you if they know you've got something old, or if you're buying a specialty cam.

I really went to town when I researched this...
