| | | | Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2001 Posts: 5,337 | I have put 1/2 ton spindles on 3/4 ton axles sevral times by simply reaming out the bushings. Surprisingly the OD of the 1/2 ton bushing is larger so there is plenty of material. This will only work on the solid bronze bushings, the steel backed do not have enough bronze.
