Wow! This conversation really sparked up grin

Luckily, I have only a half tank of 27 year old fuel. I'm guessing that's about 7.5 imperial gallons.

And, luckily, I didn't run the engine with that fuel so I haven't cratered the engine yet.

I'll go and find some 5 gallon pails and then I will contact the local fire department and see if they know who might want to recycle the old fuel.
