For a while I thought Line-x was the best of the bunch.
About 2 years ago my Dad had the bed in his new truck coated with "Reflex" brand stuff because they have a local place.
I don't know if it is any better or worse than line-x, but it looks great after 2 years as a work truck, and is at least as good in my opinion.
I think that the line-x looks a little porous, not that it is, but it has a kinda sand paper look to it. The Reflex stuff has a non porous look, yet it still has a fine lumpy texture and stuff won't slide on it. I think it looks a bit better than line-x because it may be easier to clean, as dirt won't stick to it as much? Anyone noticed these differences too?
They have a sample at the shop that is about 3/16" thick, and not stuck to anything, just the black stuff. It was cut from a larger sheet and you can't see any air bubbles in the edges. It is very rubber like, a bit harder than an inner tube, but softer than most tires. It seems perfect for the undersides of cabs, fenders, and as a floor mat. I have only seen line-x with it stuck to something, so don't know how it compares for rubberyness and air bubbles
