I think they are basically the same product although you might want to check with your local dealer. After all of the expense of restoring this viejo truck I think the Line-X is a good way to preserve it, especially here on the beach. The Line-X is not cheap by any stretch but it's almost indestructible and I like the look better than some of the gooey products.
