That is a higher compression 235 head that I think first became available in 1956 (and it might have been used through 1962). It will work on any 235 block from 1954 onwards (with some minor modifications needed to the rocker-arm oil feed line/tube, depending on the year of the rocker arm assembly). It can also be used on 261 blocks but needs additional holes (between the paired cylinders) for adequate coolant flow.

See if you can find the engine serial number (pressed into the block to the rear of the distributor) and the block casting number (at the upper right of the starter).
