I didn't locate any casting numbers on the block but the head has 3836848 on it. I realize it is very likely the head is not original to the block but does that number identify the head to any degree.
With a lot of digging and scraping I should be able to find something on the block. Where exactly would a casting number be on it. Thanks Richard
Life is simpler if you plow around the stump.
