The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area General Truck Talk suicide doors anyone?

I've never understood what the seeming obsession is with suicide doors. I don't see that they look any different closed and can't see any advantage to them. Can anyone explain? I have a car with them, and people come up and say, "Wow, suicide doors!" and I think,"So?"
