#22184 12/03/2001 7:45 PM | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 140 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 140 | On the bendix-stromburg, the choke linkage has a long arm with a fork on it that sits on the throttle shaft. This arm sits up against the idle adjustment screw, and if the fork isnt sitting on that shaft, the linkage wont match up. If that isnt it, than maybe bindage in the butterfly valves? Good luck. By the by, I have been looking for a carburator rebuild kit for my stromburg. Where did you get yours?
