I rebuilt the stock Bendix Stromberg 2bbl carb for my 305E this week. (The accelerator pump was not working) Upon putting everything back together I noticed that when the choke is fully open (no choke) the accelerator linkage does not rest upon the idle speed adjustment screw. I took some Polaroids of the carb before I began to make sure that it all went back together, and am fairly confident that everything is correct. The carb works fine, idles fine, runs fine, but I know that in order to have the full range of idle speed adjustment, the linkage needs to rest up against that screw. Yeah, I ran the screw all the way in. Any thoughts?? :confused:
