I was just going to try to lift my truck for the first time. I am using a 2-post lift and discovered I need extensions to clear teh running boards, but that is another subject.
I also noticed that the rear eye of both front springs is busted. The front shackles have swung full forward and the rear of the springs are setting against the front of the shakle mount. If I try to lift the truck, the whole front suspension is going to want to rotate forward. Has anybody ever had this dilema? Any ideas?
I had planned on installing an IFS at a later date, but it looks more and more like I am going to have to skip past the drive it as is phase and move right into the tear it apart and fix it right phase.
