While you're checking things,you might want to check the line before the fuel pump;maybe when you turn right it torques the engine over enough to open an air leak so the fuel pump sucks in a big gulp of air,causing the sputter. Then,when the turn's completed the leak seals back up and you're back in business.
In theory,by turning LEFT your engine should run even BETTER than usual,right Joker?
