sounds like a float stuck, something weird, does it happen regardless of how much fuel is in the tank?

you might also check any rubber fuel lines to see if any have a hole or small crack, probably in a hard to see area to see if you see any fuel... had this happen to me where it stalled,,,but not just on rt turns....good luck with it,,, till then change directions and go left all the time grin
