taz101 -The Cab trim is Stainless. Did you try to stick a magnet on it? A magnet usually won't stick to stainless. We have the same questions about our stainless bed strips. People try and put a magnet to it and when it doesn't stick they wonder what is going on. The trim we currently sell comes with clips that work well with the trim. I remember a call we had a couple of weeks ago asking about drilling out the holes..we used to carry a clip that required drilling out the holes because the clips were a bit to big....they were the only thing that were available at the time. The trim kits we sell come "with" the correct clips and we also sell those clips separately. I would be happy to send you a set of the correct clips at no charge if you'd like to try them

The rivets are correct for the vent glass seal. They may look too long when you push them thru, but they are supposed to be that long as they 'mushroom" down which allows it to hold in place.

Peggy M - Please don't hesitate to ask if you need contest items, sponsorship, etc...we would love to help! I know we ran a special for the stovebolt group for a discount off of orders and would like to do that again when we launch our new website in a few weeks. Let me know how I can help!

64fleetside - Most of the aftermarket items are being produced in Taiwan. There would be a whole lot less parts on the market without these companies. Sometimes it takes a couple of production runs to iron out some of the problems of a new item. Over the years I have seen great strides in quality control coming from these overseas manufactures. 10 years ago there was hardly anything available for these old trucks.

bigmacdaddy -We have made great strides in our delivery times. We have been shipping same day for all orders placed before 2pm. As long as you get your order in before 2pm CST and the item/s are in stock your order will go out that same day. And since we ship UPS and are located in the Midwest, we can deliver most everywhere in the US in 1-3 days.

OldSub -Our business has grown steadily over the past 22 years because we value long-term relationships. We know the customer isn't just making a one-time purchase and then done. It takes years to restore a truck, and sometimes it seems as if you are never quite finished, there is always something to replace, tweak, or change. I think we have some of the most competitive pricing in the industry. Again, as long as you get your order in before 2pm CST and the item/s are in stock your order will go out that same day. And since we ship UPS and are located in the Midwest, we can deliver most everywhere in the US in 1-3 days.

Apache Kid -We have made a lot of improvements in our customer service, shipping times, parts availability, etc...over the past two years. I would be happy to discuss any issues or concerns you may have had in the past. Feel free to email me directly at [email protected]

To All :

Our name change has gone smoothly. We are starting to send out our new Classic Parts T-shirts with some of the larger orders. If your order is over $300 just ask the customer service rep to throw a free one in with your order. We have 3 of our 5 catalogs reprinted with the new logo. We are still working on a few things..new sign, business cards, etc...

We have a new website about to be launched in a couple of weeks. It has some great features. A quick order form if you already know your part numbers, a wish list, in-stock/out-of-stock indicator, more product photos, the ability to check the status/tracking information of any type(web, phone, mail) of order you place with us, etc..etc...

We are adding in new items for all the truck years as well as starting on the 88-98 catalog.

It's been a fun and busy year already!

As always, I am usually available any time to respond to comments or questions you may have. I like to hear the positive things that we do, as well as the negitive. Hearing the negative allows me to work on those areas that need attention. We do appreciate the feedback. I try and pass that on to our employees as they appreciate hearing it, both good and bad. It confirms what we are doing well, and lets us know where we need imrovement.

Again, any time you have questions, comments, or general feedback, or, if you just feel like an issue isn't getting handled to your satisfaction, please feel free to contact me directly.
