Hi Everyone,
I know that Chevy Duty sponsors this site but facts are facts.
I ordered item Part # 62-122 cab trim kit Advertised as stainless steel trim kit but is alum.
I ordered the clips for the trim and they do not work. Instructions tell you to drill holes out to 19/64" don't do it. I called Chevy duty and was told that these are the only clips available even though they know they will not work and sell them anyway. Its like buying 15" wheels from them and they send 14" tires . It does not work.
I also ordered rivets for vent glass seal and they were 3 times to long. The guy at Chevy Duty (Chris or Tim) said can't you cut them off? Small detail I know but its the principal here.
You can tell they know very little about doing this type of work so to me they should not sell these parts without posting a disclaimer. I know that all parts do not fit perfectly and require some work but after you drill a hole or 40 of them in the newly painted cab of your truck what do you do then?
Also the blame for some of the problems I was told was going through a name change and web changes.
Shame on Chevy Duty.
