Sounds like the th400 may be my best bet with higher gears in the rear. Right now I'm running the stock 4:10's. I'm still trying to figure out the cost involved in this. At least 400 is more readily available and I may be able to find one with all the attachments from a mid 70's truck. Thanks for all the input. Has anyone done this conversion from a manuel to a th400?
