I want to get rid of the manuel manly because we use the boat a lot and the wife can't do the 3 pedals with 2 feet dance coming out of the ramp. I would also like to get the overdrive on it because we will be using it on 4-5 hour road trips.
I checked into a couple of gear splitter units. They are definetely a cool set--but pretty spendy. especially nice if you have a wide ratio gap between gears. I guess I'll be on the lookout for a 700r4 out of a junker. Maybe I'll even get lucky and find one hooked up to a 205 case, which would save me a few hundred for the adaptor. M
