Well me and my grandpa picked up a 64 C-10 with a 283 and a 3-speed auto about 2 weeks ago. The driver side window needs the handle crank gearbox thing installed. I have all the parts out of Grandpa's "pasture dweller" C-10 that the window actually still worked on. I just don't see any other way to get inside this door other than taking it to a body shop and having them split the two pieces of that door apart and then installing the parts. Is there any other way? We aren't looking to spend a bunch. Is $800 a good deal for a strong truck with big back window, chrome wheels, gauges and lights work work and a 6.5-7.5 out of 10 body?
