My first car was a 69 voklswagen squareback. I recognized those door panels instantly.
The top is actually vinyl. Those seems are done with some kind of heat press. The fabric lower section is actually the easier part to work with. I'm pretty sure this is the type stuff that would be covered by any automobile upholstry guide.
