As has been stated you have to take out the crossmember. Then as mechainiac has stated that tube shaft can be dangerous. When I done mine, I put a floor jack under the shaft and unhooked the u-joints and bell and lowered the shaft to the floor. The transmission should come out now. If you're young and strong you can probably manhandle it. If your getting old like me those days are over and you may have to use a jack. Hey, didn't I get chrome beauty rings from you awhile back? They are still in the same box! :p
