The only thing remotely simular between a 2 wheel drive and a 4 is the body. The frames are different because the 4X4's use leaf springs and the 2WD's use coil. Even the shape is different, making fab work of the crossmembers and such more difficult. In my opinion, it would be easier to swap your body to a later model 4WD chassis,
