my first chevy, and second vehicle ever wasa 68 c-10 longfleet pickup, original 307 2bbl and 3 on the tree still in it, drove it home from a local dealership real nice shape but normal rusted rockers, original light green 503AA, base model, light green vinyl interior
was a fun truck, blew a rod out of the 307 bottom end so i put in a fresh 355 with 305 heads after a fresh rebuilt 1980 305 that i put in for a little bit, then it went to a th350 short tail in place of the sm326 three speed,
i miss it, ill own another some day, it RIP
owned a bunch of 67-72 since then but the first 68 was the best of them all
i know of a couple 68s right now im probably gonna buy one or the other real soon, a 68 C20 fleetside pickup or the 68 c50/c60 big bolt
