Thanks, Luke, I'm due for an oil change and was planning to check the lash again. I suspected the P.O.'s zero setting had bowed the pushrod, but there's no metal flake in the oil and I've learned to ignore the clicking.

I'll pull the side cover and see what goes, but until it stops running smooth I'm not replacing anything.
