Last summer I went to replace the radiator hoses in my '47. The upper hose in this one is a real small diameter--maybe 1 5/8" or something -I forget right now. Anyhow they had taken a larger hose, maybe a 2", and put small pieces of hose inside it (sleeved it) to make it work on the smaller radiator end and thermostat housing! In all the hoses I've changed over the years, I have never seen anything like this!
