On my
1964 Chevy C60 the previous owner removed the stock 292 CID and replaced it with a 327 CID. Well, rather that get the correct motor mount he torched the
mounting horn on the passenger side and re-welded it to make it work for the different engine configuration. I found several other minor issues...but luckily nothing too serious. He did take a hacksaw to the dash to fit a modern radio, but Chevy Duty makes the replacement panel (cut out old and weld in new...kinda like doing a cab corner).
