I think the design of a vehicle should support it's intended usage. Any time I take something apart I want to consider any changes that will better support the way I use it.
Without exception my trucks would all suit me better if they were lower.
I like the look better, handling can be improved, though some approaches to lowering make it worse, and there are even economy and performance advantages to reducing the height.
On the other hand, I like to drive my trucks, and I've seen many that would never make it up or down my driveway because they are so low.
