A few years ago,the old Lounge was a place for intense but respectful debates on politics and occasionally religion.Slowly the attitude changed just as the country became more divided over political issues.
The division is still there and certainly will be reflected in any posts on current politics.Another problem was a few Stovebolt staff members were noted for "stirring the pot" and some felt one staff guy was doing his share of flamming.
An off topic forum will work only if the guys posting know the rules will be enforced consitantly and fairly.Otherwords, a guy states his opinion,the next guy his opinion or rebuttal,no need to call a guy names because his opinion differs from yours.
Oh boy does that last statement sound familiar, I said it 100 times on the old Lounge
