a few years ago, I had heard of a design being built in Europe (sweden? denmark? I dunno...) about how if your car went over the speed limit, the computer would cut the electrical power to your motor until it slowed back down to the proper speed. Kinda dangerous, IMO, but more big brother bullcookies
