Jeff,the Jeep engine is about 32 inches long,pretty much the same as a 235 or 230-292 Chevy,the oil pan shape may or may not be an issue. The head has 12 ports,might be a better brether than a 250 Chevy.This model engine has a sheetmetal tube header from the factory.There is speed equipment available for the 4.0 engine,gotta be more expensive to build that a 250 Chevy 6 though.
