Afaik it's pretty easy to fuel inject a 258 using 4.0 parts, and the heads are somewhat interchangeable. However, it may be a step backwards in reliability over a 250 or 292. A lot of Jeepers put 292's in CJ's. The 258 is not known for fuel economy, either.
