Hello on the sound proofing. I know I will cause a stir with all of the do it your self people and the substitute methods for sound deadening. I do this for a living at my shop. Use the heatshield material for the sound deadening and heat proofing on your vehicles. This material is available in a single or double face applications. This meets and or exceeds the motor vehicle safety standards for flamibility MVSS 302 look it up for yourself. The heatshield has a fire retardant in the material so you are not going to ignite like the peel and seal if you have a flame of heat conditions. I can get you taken care of for all of the correct materials that will help the heat, sound deadening, and protect the passengers of the vehicle, for a reasonable price.
