If it has a pressure switch in the brake line, thats where you start looking. I had a few that didn't work reliably so I switched to micro switch. The fluid pressure switches leak and damage the internal contacts. In my case, I could stop the truck with little pressure on the brakes so the lights never activated. Yours maybe mounted on or near the master cylinder.
