I’m potentially picking up a GMC engine in the near future and will need a way to store it and move it around as needed. Deve’s Technical Network has plans for an engine stand that looks easy to build and more than strong enough to carry a Chevy 235. Has anyone built that stand and used it for a GMC engine? If not, has anyone been able to build their own engine stand for a GMC? The key dimension would be the width of the oil pan flange since that’s what the cart ultimately uses to rest the engine on.
