And I disagree about Detroits. When I got back from the run Amtrakjoe and I made to Kansas City (was that 2013?) in the GMC 9500 with the 6-71 Jimmy, it wasn't leaking a drop. I topped off the engine oil before leaving KC and when we stopped two days later in Racine, VA (White's Truck Stop) it wasn't leaking a drop and it hadn't used one bit of oil. It didn't start leaking again for about a month. Never ran hot, either -- even going through the mountains of Western Maryland -- just drop a gear, hit the slow lane and keep the revs up against the governor (and have your hearing protection in)-- happy happy, joy joy.

I don't know a thing about Harley's, but my Green Screamer was happiest when you had the hammer to the floor all day, all week. Your mileage may vary.
