Does anyone know if this nylon piece (first picture) in a T5 shifter can be purchased separately? The assembly is non-serviceable, so it might not be. I can't find it anywhere.
Had to take it apart to final weld my shift rod on to the T5 base so I wouldn't melt this piece. This one should be fine, but thought I'd just put a new one in while it's apart if I can find one.
On a side note: I used a shift rod from a Model A since it looks very similar to the stock one. Going to work out perfect. Ground the T5 stub and the shift rod to a point to fill it all in with weld for strength, then smoothed everything out.
