Bill - It's still available and has current good reviews plus available from the majority of auto parts houses. I think you may find it's a lot more expensive today than that first can back in '64. About $40 for the 3 qt can and dipping basket.
Current descriptions says it safe for most plastic and metal parts of carbs and throttle bodies. It mentions "...includes steel, aluminum, and their alloys.", but doesn't say anything about brass.
