Thanks for the insformation about the lower door windlace. I just wasn't sure which way the rubber is layed so that it is retained but also contacts the door correctly.
My windlace is from Jim Carter. It did not have any cuts in the track feature so I needed to make my own.
I started on the perimeter windlace seal on the driver's door yesterday and got the top and latch pillar in place but I'm really struggling with the hinge pillar section. The windshield inner trim and especially the dash interfere with the lip on the windlace making it very hard to get in place. I'll try again today. I'm not sure if a second person would help but I guess if they could help control the lip interference with the trim and dash it could help although it would be a very tight working area.
