I may be able to come up with an oil pickup assembly if you can't come up with one more locally.

I gave the remnants of a 1958 235 engine, including oil pan, pickup, etc to the machine shop that did my machine work. I could check and see if they'd part with it. I need to go talk with them about some injector hold-down bolts I left in my 7.3L when I had them rebuild it for me. Wasn't a big deal as I had spares of those.

It uses a pipe thread into the oil pump and the pickup is pivoted on the bottom end. RockAuto says the 58 and 60 235's use the same oil pump.
