make sure battery is charged. Sta-bil. Drive it when you can and the roads are dry. You only live once. If you use a battery charger, disconnect the battery leads. If you have a HEI some ignition modules won`t block the charge and fry the module. A good quality IM one wont but I don`t take chances.
