Remflex is does not matter...It does not matter which side of the Remflex gasket faces the manifold or header,
as both sides will perform the same once installed. The texture difference is a result of the manufacturing process
and is not an indicator of how the gasket should be installed, according to Remflex Exhaust Gaskets.
