Just about any carburetor will beat an Edelbrock- - - - -including squeezing a gasoline-soaked rag over the intake manifold! On a dyno run of a MOPAR 440 pull truck engine I built, I got 714 HP at 6500 RPM from a single QJ for a 455 Buick engine, with a minimum of modifications.
