I'll have to admit, Desert_Buick is right-Craftsman jacks suck. We have one in the shop that is used for occaisional flat repair work if the lifts are tied up. The darn thing takes forever to pump up, leaks down when it is up, and the release valve is a pain to use. Now at home, I've got a 40(?) year old Dreadnought jack that came from TSC. Best jack I've ever used. Doesn't leak, stays up, and the release is easy to use.
