| | | | Joined: Oct 2021 Posts: 6,775 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2021 Posts: 6,775 | I forgot to put the cotter pin/clevis pin in the gas pedal rod where it attaches to the linkage. Of course it worked its way out on the freeway and I had no response from the gas pedal. It was too hot to even hook it back up and stick a makeshift pin in place so I drove home working the throttle on the dashboard.
That was tricky to do while steering and shifting gears. I made it home - about 6 or 7 miles on the interstate and sorted it out when it cooled down.
