| | | | Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2000 Posts: 2,074 | I've picked up a couple tappet wrenches one is an old Snap On, uses a scocket. Other is a cheapo "ZimTool" that is a double box end affair with the screwdriver portion on a lever. I still prefer an open end wrench and the stubby. Best tool is to have a third hand. Unlike allot of people I do mine with engine running and HOT.
Another tip is to install a cut down an old valve cover, making a little dam around the edge and you wont have to clean up the oil. | | |
