I paid my first visit to a Harbor Freight store today . . . what a circus! The place was packed with people milling around and 4 cash registers were going the whole time. I would venture and say that about 98% of the stuff was from China and another 1.9% was from India and the rest was from other countries. You can buy a pnuematic die grinder for $9.99! I left with a India manufactured welding slag hammer ($3.99), a Chinese Mechanics Stethiscope ($4.99) and a 1 ton shop crane (folding style) for $179 on sale. I saw they had a pretty decent looking cabinet siphon blaster setup for $199 on sale (regularly $299) . . . most of the stuff in the store was complete junk but that didn't seem to slow the people down from buying it. Kinda felt a little slimey loading it into my Quality built Mexican made Chevy Suburban. . . :rolleyes:
