stick welding and brazing are two completely different animals.stick welding is fusion of the two base metals with the inroduction of a third filler metal. a correctly prepped and welded joint will not fail. the parent material will fail before the weld ever will. Brazing is bonding similar to glueing. the parent materials are never melted they are just stuck together by the brass.
