I purchased this 1947 GMC from a friend about 40 years ago.
After sitting on it for a couple of years, I drove it about 120 miles to my residence.
it sat outside for many years until I was able to build a garage.
Then it sat inside until I was able to heat the garage at which time I started to do some repairs and upgrades.
I am trying to leave it as stock as much as possible.
Finally have it in a reasonable driving condition and will be moving on to some wiring and glass upgrades.
Maybe eventually look at some body work?

I have just posted a question on vapor lock and hot starting problem.
