OldSub has a good point. What is the big deal about air brakes. I started driving big trucks for a company when I was 18. This was way before the CDL days. I found that trucks with air brakes were easier to operate and no one taught us nothing about them. I just jumped in and drove. By the way, these were GMC trucks.

Now if you want to talk about something dangerous, we had some International 1600's and 1800's with Vacuum Assisted Hydraulic Brakes. Those things took some time to get used to. They were super powerful and very touchy. I hated them. Couldn't wait till I jumped back into a good 'ol GMC with air brakes.
