What I've been able to extract from all this indicates these heads were 1954-55 and used on both car and truck engines. If you would like to confirm when the head was cast, there is a casting date code located nearby the exposed casting number, but underneath the valve cover. Post that and we can decode that if you would like. Enjoy the reading!
