CuzzFuzz, I did a bit of research in my Chevy Master Parts books and think I may have found an answer to your incorrect rear mount dilemma. My 1929-53 Parts Book lists GM# 3702198 as the correct rear mount for your 1941 AK 1/2 ton. However, my 1929-46 Master Parts Book lists GM# 594741 as the correct rear mount. Below are the 2 different parts books illustrations of the mounts, showing there is a definite design change that is probably the root of your fitment problem with the reproductions as they are designed like the later part numbered item. Also, later Parts Book data shows that GM superseded the earlier # 594741 with # 3702198. That doesn't mean the newer design would have been exact fit, just what GM designated as the correct part from that point forward as they stopped making the # 594741 design.

That being said, there are a number of NOS GM# 594741 mounts being offered on epay which look to be suitable to resolve your fitment problem. Here are a few offers (none are mine) that you may decide to pursue. They have good varying picture views that show the distinct difference with the later style one in Kevinski's reply above and I think those differences will resolve your interference problem.

Pair of # 594741 mounts for a buy it now price

Single # 594741 mount for a buy it now price

Single # 594741 mount offered at auction

Best of luck in resolving your rear mount problem! thumbs_up
